To my fellow Arizonans,  

I'm Ed Gogek and I'm running for state senate to take what I've learned from 25 years of practicing medicine and use it for Arizona. As a doctor, my job is to help people lead healthy lives. When someone comes to me, I have to know the real cause of their problem so we can cure it, and let them lead a healthy life.

That's why I'm running for state senate. We need people in the legislature who know how to solve problems. We can make health care affordable. We can plan Arizona's growth and development sensibly, avoiding traffic jams and threats to our water supply. We can promote commuter rail and alternative energy, and free ourselves from dependence on foreign oil. And we can solve these problems in ways that save us money instead of costing us. Doing things right always costs less in the long run.

But we also need people who understand what causes these problems in the first place. It's hard to cure a problem if you don¹t know the real cause. As a doctor, that's my job—to listen, understand, and cure problems. And that's what I'll do as your state senator.
